THE mayors in the 2nd District who will run under the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) banner in the coming May 2007 elections were proclaimed Monday.
Representative Judy Syjuco made the proclamation.
Her official candidates for the mayoral post are incumbent Mayors Isabelo Maquino of Sta. Barbara, Arcadio Gorriceta of Pavia, Gregorio Brazas of Zarraga, Gregorio Villarico of San Miguel, Juanito Alipao of Alimodian and Romulo Cabana of Leon.
Syjuco will seek re-election.
