i was so surprised that the administrator of this website gave "taga sta. barbara" a mere chance to speak his/her foul and some rude language.I doubt it if he/she is even from sta barbara, besides you are not even or suppose to use other identities if you are braver enough to prove exactly what is coming out of your mouth and if you are serious w/ what you were talking about. If you are from Cabatuan why not just make a good suggestion, helpful comments and suggestions, teamwork, hopes and even your dreams?,instead of hiding and expressing your sarcasm, anger and dissapointments to the people that's doing something solid good about thier tommorows and thier future.
It is very clear that alot of the discussions here does not deal with an issue of any of political candidates anymore, the public is just solely concern about the solution of every descripancy and most have fully kinda look at what are in these forums all about. It is just imperative for everyone in Cabatuan to work it and dig the root cause of the problem. Now, if you think you are guilty enough or one of your family member that got caught in the middle based on how you act like here, then maybe just leave them Cabatuan alone. If you are really from sta Barbara then it's a good time for you to look back at your own hometown and help mr senupe or whoever you think you could share what is being said in your fortune cokie. If you want to contribute the joy or fun of being from Cabatuan or if you wanna share your constructive ideas i think you are more than welcome.
Realities originates from hopes and dreams, and people with dreams like these always ends up to great success. How i would like to see and to have a place or a town that is very futuristic, progressive and very peaceful. And i'm sure,so should you.

Senior Citizen
thanks for your cooperation.
i'll try to address your concern.
you said, i gave him a chance to speak his/her foul language... as you are probably aware, when you submit your message, it is posted immediately. moderation comes only when i come online. sometimes, i am able to catch the rude language in minutes. unfortunately, sometimes, hours. i have invited several people to help me moderate this forum. those that i know that can be responsible in their postings. none accepted. even if there are more moderators involved, you cannot really prevent a message from being posted even for a minute.
secondly, i have and i am affording everyone, including you, the policy of maximum tolerance. so unless, a real person or a personally identifiable pseudonym is involved/mentioned, i always try to second guess whether to delete or not. remember that i gave you a huge leeway in your own language. if not for your word "kab.." which connotes violence, i would have let your whole post through.
back to stabarbs' post, i have deleted the portion where a real identifiable person was mentioned. if i have missed something, i'll delete it when i spot it. you might want to help me single them out.
since this concerns taga abroad, i am asking him/her to send me a modified copy of sta. barbara's post, omitting those that he/she feels inappropriate.
thanks again.

Taga abroad, your ideas have been discussed here several times before. But nothing has been done because I think the problem is rooted to who we are as Filipinos. All talk and no walk, the crab mentality, supposedly the only Christian country in Asia but yet we behave like we don’t even go to church. And if we go, it is just for showing off. Our kids see us lie, cheat and do all kinds of dishonest behavior and activities. They are great imitators. So until we clean up our own act, we have no business expecting our officials to be like saints. That is bunch of bull, hypocrisy at its best. We rely too much on our government to feed us. We think it is our government’s responsibility to put food in our table and roof above our heads. Well the truth is, it is not. How can you withdraw money from the bank if you have not deposited even one peso. Most of the people living in Cabatuan right now have not paid a single centavo in taxes, either property or income tax. If you survey people living from Tabucan to Manguna, pira ayhan ang taxes nga nabayad da? Indi gani siguro kaigo sa isa ka dupa nga espalto. The sad part is reading news is like reading tabloids. All tsismis, just because taga municipyo said the municipal coffer is missing P3M that it is true. If it is, then he/she should show proof and reveal himself/herself. You don’t just accuse someone of stealing based on tsismis. You have no idea what the heck you are yakking about.
Taga Sta Barbara is right. Cabatuananon fight about money all the time. When they are here in Cabatuan, they about money. They moved to US East Coast, they fight about money. They moved to US West Coast, they fight about money. They went to work in Hongkong, they fight about money. Everything is about money for them. Makapa-America abi mo daw maubos ang kuwarta kang America. Waay ron ga-urili sa balay da hay double hasta triple jobs pa sanda. Ti amu dya ang future Cabatuan ang gusto nyo? 1. Bag-o anay infrastructures, investment, kag kon ano ano pa nga material gains ang gina-isip nyo, concentrate kamu anay sa inyo nga pamilya. Teach your kids, grandkids, great-grandkids the right and wrong. Sa Cabatuan, madura o maribit kahita mo, thank you da lang…99.99% sure waay ti mauli kanimo. 2. Kinanglan suportahon indi insultuhon….encourage our local governments, residents and communities to be involved and to support Arts and Sports. Our kids have to have a balance. All books with no play make them dull and boring. It takes a village to raise a child according to Hillary Clinton. Involved kids in barrangays not just in “banwa”. Keep them busy after school so that we are raising active kids. The more we steer them away from hanging-out in front of “tiyanggis” drinking and smoking the better. We want them to be just kids and not kids raising kids at an early age. 3. Naturally, our town officials are good people but I do believe that training maybe needed for some of them if changes and new policies are to be implemented in areas of taxation, investments, licensing, etc. Based on my experience, no matter what level of management you are, either at the top or just a peon, you need training. Having said that, send our officials to some kind of training that would assist them and to be effective with their areas of responsibilities. Encourage them to be good leaders and examples to us all. 4. Philippines as a nation has a very young democracy. It had been under tight control 20 years ago and we are just beginning to understand and enjoy the freedom, including freedom to run for office, freedom of speech and freedom to votes. Soon the baby-boomers will be retiring and generation X will be running the show. My suggestion is then to be sure our young are well-educated in the areas of politics and government. We need future voters who are knowledgeable of the issues and vote based on principles and not on “last name”. (This is a tough one to change because even our national government is full of dynasties and actors).
Ti kon sin-o ga-except big changes, paguwa nyo dolyaris nyo. Hasta lang gi anay, hay kataraka man… thanks for reading.

the initial report of the missing 3 million pesos in the cofers of cabatuan is TRUE... and that's the talk of the town when it was first divulged outside of the municipyo... when i was appointed no less by the mayor to head the cash management committee of the trasurers department, i did took advantage of it and conducted our own cash and management audit of the department... and we have found out an initial cash shortages of some 3 hundred thousand.. and from then i have redesigned the the procedures of handling cash remittances and strict control of issuance of ORs to collectors, as this is where the problem started.... the matters was discuss to the concerned parties involved and with the Mayor himslef to report the descripancies and laxity of internal controls with our recommendations of the matter with the new internal procedures hopefully to minimize if not to eliminate the persistent problem...
this month the COA is scheduled for another post audit and review of their recommendations in their last audit comments, and one matter they have to resolve is the reported 3 million shortages..

There is no question about bringing your kids more to christianity or educate them because as far as i knew we even have alot of educational programs like the special sections of students in schools in Cabatuan, school of science for intelligent students of west visayas or we even have a big church with an adoration chapels in it, we have parochial schools etc.And if we try to look at all of these ideas in the forum we are not fighting or arguing about money.I believe we are trying to share each of our ideas to straighten up something that could help the new generation that taga uma is talking about.
Second, how much more of support and encouragement of ideas our local officials needed even though alot of sthingy feeding had been done that we don't even know thier responses, that they never even knew wether they're going to take it or swallow it, or what? Or do they understand anything at all?
Third, if for some reason millions of residents from tabucan to manguna is really poor down to earth and din't pay thier taxes since the day they were born,i'm sorry that they can't but it is not thier responsibility to build funds inorder to build infrastructures so major investments and commerce will start growing in cabatuan soils. Also it is not a very good excuse and not smart if you're thingking about infrastructures funded by the community. If you are aware of the "bgy tanod"., someone from the government had even provided them with money to build thier little headquarters regardless if they roofed them with banana leaves.
Fourth, if you have seen, read, heard about the road widening project from iloilo to Capiz which is even on the process right now, you might need to have a second thought and asks yourself why our town officials were just to blind and deaf to get themselves worked thier responsibilities and see someone in the government help thier funds build the roads from tabucan to manguna where it is the frontline of Cabatuan for big business and investments.
Fifth, if you go politics you and everyone in the world assumes that you exactly knew what you're responsibilities gonna be.You took that job since you think you are capable, responsible and matured to challenge and deal with it OR you just wanted to be called one of the town honchos inorder for you to have a job and cheat and not doing what you're suppose to be doing.
Sixth,it doesn't matter how many numbers we're going to present in the discussion, we would be very exited for our town officials to appear here and join in these forum.I guess we are the people that in a teamwork we can achieved progress in our hometown and better our lives, coz' the more you all hide the hostile the people gets and even more very suspecious how big of a cheater our local officials are.
There is a good and bad reasons when "sta barbara" happened to appear in this forum: good=because for everyone in Cabatuan who ignores the truth and conversation, they should realise that they're not the only ones who can read these embarrasments Bad=coz' if taga sta barbara pseudonym is truly from cabatuan he/she is one scared puppy loud mouth
