This is an excellent way of getting information about our town. Well, all Calinognon's, we must recognize that our community is blessed with people who are smart, and ambitious. Most Calinognon's I knew of have a drive to succeed. There is no perfect world out there, lets face it, but one thing that makes me so proud of our town is that our schools have produced the best in terms of nurses, doctors, educators and lawyers abroad. I am so happy about it. If we Calinognon's can unite and put our best effort there is to help our town in areas needed, Calinog will be the best town in the Philippines. Let's all do it.
I challenge all of those who are willing to participate. I can be reach at:

My great grandmother was the late Maria Ciencia who was married to Teodoro Paguntalan. Maria Ciencia had 2 other siblings: Ignacio married to Eulalia Pastolero and Andres Ciencia married to Evarista Cebo. Their parents were Apolinario Ciencia and Andrea Castillano. Therefore, Apolinario and Andrea were my great-great grand parents. I now belong to the 5 generation counting from Apolinario and Andrea. the Ciencias are originally from Canabajan, Calinog.

Progress in Calinog is no longer a dream and hope of the people of Calinog because it will not happened unless CHANGE will happen in that green building across the plaza. Let's face it, has there been substantial progress in the town in the last 10 years? Wala. None. Nada. You see, investors are no longer interested to invest their business in our town. Why? Because they cannot put their trust on the town leaders. Kanugon. In 1970s up to early '80s, Calinog was very progressive. So, what is in store for Calinog? ----- We need change. Change of the present administration. We need people who have higher moral standard, Honest, sincere, with a spirit to serve the public and have FEAR OF GOD. By the way, the green color of our municipal building is ridiculous. It just doesn't match. IT'S A POOR TASTE OF ART. The intention of being green is good but .... wala gid nagakasanto.
